Desert Jim: Good to have you back! Man, it has been a long time! Glad you mentioned the bell. I too want to always hear them since it means the wonder is still there. Thanks for the comment and coming by again.

Hey Bill! Long time for me to comment. I hope I can get back on board soon.

I haven't seen the movie this year, but I love the analogy of the childlike faith. I want to always be able to hear the bells.

Good to hear from you Jim! I love hearing about your daughter making her faith her own. Luke will also. Appreciate you stopping by.

I love pulling stuff from movies and other entertainment. I love when other people do it too. I am watching my son go through the struggle of believing in Santa right now. I see my daughter working through making her faith her own, not mom and dad's faith, but her own. I see the great parallel's in the movie. Good movie and good thoughts.

Hey R: thanks for the thoughts. This is the 3rd time I watched it and got more out of it and enjoyed it more this time. Can't wait until next year! On your thoughts: I agree. Don't miss that train!

Hey B,
Great thoughts pulled from a fun movie... As you said, regardless of what your stand is on SC... (We chose not to do the whole SC thing) its a fun movie with great opportunities for discussion. If the only time our kids hear about God discussed is during prayer and once a week at Church, then we are missing the boat (or train).
