Grindstone

Wednesday, March 11th, 2015

I’ve had my nose stuck to the grindstone for a good part of the day. I have been in the process of putting together an “Introduction to OVCF” booklet to introduce people to the church who show an interest. I started about 6:30  this morning and worked almost solid until 11:00 when I had an appointment. I took time a little time away then came back to the office to work another 3-4 hours.

My nose is flat.

My fingers don’t want to work on the keyboard.

My brain is a bit of mush.

AND I HAVE TO TEACH A CLASS TONIGHT! I call it “Route 66” (66 for short) and I am guessing you can figure that it is about the books of the Bible. We are in the Intertestamental Period tonight after finishing the Old Testament two weeks ago. Fortunately, this is my second round so the lesson is done and ready to go.

Now if only I could get myself ready to go. 🙂

Sometimes you have those days. It is also important to find time to relax and get the old nose out of the grindstone. I did that at lunchtime when I went home to ride inside. Boring, but at least it was active. I can maybe ride outside, but ran out of time and also the roads are kind of yucky with sand, water, some ice, and gunk.

But the day is coming!!!! Yeah! 😛

Even though I rode inside, it did my mind and body good to do so. Take some time away from the grindstone my friends. You will be glad you did.
