Smile

Written by cycleguy on February 13th, 2014

I have had some pretty “rough” posts this week.  Strong statements. Tough subjects.

I thought it might be time for a change. No not music. Not even Tommy James (sorry Floyd). 😛

I saw this video this past week and then showed it in our staff meeting Monday morning and both Ryan and Diana loved it.  They laughed hard. You may have already seen it, but that is okay. Watch it again.

So watch this video.  Here is your laugh point  for this week. I could only wish…….

Even though I am not preaching this week (Ryan is), I have been posting some thoughts from Mark on The Great Adventure. I’d like to ask you to take a gander over there and read some of my thoughts on the Scriptures I read this past week.  Thanks.

I missed the tough posts, but this was fun. It was so sweet and I was about to stop the video when… it got better.

Feels good to smile! Haven’t done a lot of that this week. Good one, Bill. No doubt about from where that young man got his moves!

Not sure what the tough post was but I am sure you handled it graciously. Great video.

I spoke about character for one and running from God. Never fun ones.

Hummm….went back and read both post. We so need someone to speak up about the “never fun” issues. Our son now testifies to his lack of character playing a part of his divorce. Up until he left the pig pen and started home to the Father he kept using excuses for his lack of character. Thank God he is now able to see truth, accept it and become a man of character again. He is so thankful for a long suffering heavenly Father and thankful for our long suffering with him too.
Honestly Bill I am so tired of fluff teaching, fluff living, fluff anything that has to do with our Lord. Every day brings us closer to Him bringing this earth and all who live in it to their knees. His love for those who are lost is all the keep Him from shouting us home. His love for His own is manifest in His long suffering with our fluff. The only finger I point is back at me so I appreciate a post that speak to my heart issues. Jesus never added any fluff to His teaching and He is our example.

i don’t mind doing fluff from time to time Betty, but I also know God has not asked me to do that consistently. I feel the elephant in the room needs to be talked about. Thanks for your encouraging words.

  7. I see all these amazing dance videos after I had already got married. Oh well. Maybe we can do something wild for my boys’ weddings.
