I didn’t know what other kind of title to give this so it wouldn’t take up half a page so I just called it “Snapshot.” What I’d like to do is for you take a seat, relax and be prepared to laugh. I thought I would amuse you a bit in this post with a snapshot of some of what we showed at our Volunteer dinner Sunday night. Except when we say thanks to the people publicly, very little of it is serious (except when people eat. Don’t mess with them eating!). 🙂
We welcomed everyone and after an opening prayer showed this video. That got the ball rolling.
After dinner we had some drawings for gift cards from local businesses. In between drawings we showed some videos. These are not all of them but a sampling.
Here is a different kind of video we showed.
One of our favorites is this man. We showed three by him. Delilah. Multitasking. Handraising.
We had a great evening. I hope you enjoyed the videos and laughed along with them. After all, life goes better when we laugh.

I am always surprised how much Tim can make me laugh, which tells you I need to watch him more often…thank Bill for the laughs.

Whenever we have a church get together, we have crazy videos our pastor makes. It’s fantastic.
He definitely has more creativity than me at this point. However….

Hi Bill! Those videos were so funny! Especially the first one. What church doesn’t have the same thing happening? You sign up for a year, and then it’s ten later!!
I’d love to see some pics of the event too. Maybe even one of you? You put together a wonderful time for your volunteers and I bet they were all laughing and having a great time. Hope you were too!

Glad you enjoyed them Ceil. That first one had our people rolling “in the aisle” (even though we don’t have aisles) also. One man was laughing so hard I thought he was going to…well never mind. That hair on the video was hysterical. The rest were as well. As for the pictures: the ones who usually take pictures didn’t. I’m not sure we have anything to speak of. 🙁
