Going…Going…Gone (Still)

Written by cycleguy on June 5th, 2018

Jo and I are still away in Ohio for a few days. Read the previous three posts to find out about it.

My possible 2019 experience is explained here.

Your Scripture reading for today is here.

It is a tough one, but it can’t be skipped.

What part of this passage was most meaningful to you? How can you apply this to your life?

By the way, I’ll check in to approve any comments.

This passage (especially the last half of the chapter) always is a sobering reminder how if I rationalize away one sin as ok, it leads to another, and another… eventually it can lead to where my very mind becomes debased and calloused and all sorts of sins control my life but I am content and consider them ok. That would be a very dangerous place to be in.

Happy trails to you and Jo …

    Enjoy the break.

This is a condensed history of the world version.

What always stands out to me, in most every verse in the Bible, is the absolute sovereignty of our Father over His creation.
