Wednesday’s Pick Me Up

Written by cycleguy on February 25th, 2009

It is the middle of the week and we all seem to need a “pick me up” to get us over the hump and to finish out the week.  For some reason God has been drawing me to some new worship music (least for me) and this is one of them.  Monday I wrote about the Promises of God.  This song speaks of one of those promises.  No make that several of God’s promises.  It is a powerful song that I have found myself listening to over and over lately.   My prayer is that it will “the song” that will get you over the hump and through the rest of the week.

Did it speak to you?  Better yet…did He speak to you?

Ah! Kari Jobe & Gateway… one of my favorites worship leaders/singers!

I just posted an update on my blog. We have a lot going on these days.

Every day I’ll awaken my praise and pour out a song from my heart. For He is good. And no matter where life’s moments find me/us – I’d rather lean not unto my own understanding. There is no one more trust worthy than Him!

Camey: Always good to hear from you. I have heard several of Kari’s songs with Gateway and I am impressed. Look forward to reading and catching up on your family. No arguments whatsoever on that last paragraph.

Yes! It definitely lifted me up this morning and reminded me of the One who is holding me close each day. I needed that this week. Thanks for sharing 🙂

That was awesome. This is the kind of worship that gets my heart pumping while simultaneously calming me. Weird I know.

I think I might post something similar today.

You mean working with me as my secretary isn’t uplifting enough? 😉 Glad you enjoyed it. Least I got you to read my blog finally (and comment). Thanks for coming by.

Know what you mean Michael. I tend to rock but songs like this “get my pulse racing.” Thanks for stopping by.

I heard it on the iWorship experience that came from Catalyst. Not familiar with the CD. Will have to find it and check it out. Thanks Kevin.
