Drop everything right now and go here to read this story from Pastor Pete Wilson’s blog. If this does not start your weekend out right and carry on right into the week then you need to go back to the drawing board in your faith walk. You will be glad you did!!
Then, how about coming back here (if you so choose) and comment on your thoughts. I would like to hear what you have to say.
Wow!That was a wake up call for faith.
My thought exactly Jan! Thanks for going to Pete’s blog and reading and then coming back here.
Powerful post. You’re killing me with these post Bill. really causing me to think and question many of my thoughts and actions. I like “comfortable” but she is right when she wrote
“faith involves risk, and being “comfortable” will ultimately override my purpose. Being “comfortable” is not the goal- the goal is to be at the center of God’s will.”
Thanks for pointing me to Pete!
You’re welcome Bill. Killing you huh? It starts with me too. I was wowed at this young lady. Glad you stopped by. Enjoy Pete’s posts.
Thanks Bill for sending me there…this “faith involves risk” was certainly something I needed to hear, although not certain it was something I wanted to hear. She has given me more to ponder.
Danay’e: this was a definite wake-up call for me. I get to feeling pretty good sometimes on my giving and then I hear these kinds of stories. Glad it “spoke” to you.
