TRUTH TIME!!!

This has been a lost week for me in some ways.  Running in 100 different directions, it seems I have veered off and gotten lost.  Does that make sense?  I won’t bore you with all the ins and outs and goings on that has been my week.  You have got to be glad about that!  But there have been several casualties as a result.  The biggest is my sanity.  😀  Rumor had it that it wouldn’t take much.  This week proved those naysayers correct.  I hate when that happens!!

One of the biggest casualties has been my blogging.   I have squeezed in time to post this week and this one is no exception.  So it is, as I said, earlier

TRUTH TIME!!

The truth?  I am going to take the easy way out (unless you consider hurting someone’s feelings the easy way out).  I am going to link you to some posts I read recently that were game-changers for me.  Made me think.  Made me sigh.  Made me take stock.   Just a few.  Not a lot.  I hope you will check them out and let me know what you think.

Leadership is always a challenge.  Sometimes it is fun.  Sometimes it is a struggle.  Always it is a learning curve.  Here are several that “worked” for me:

Some have touched on practical issues:

There are so many more I could list.  But this is enough.  I read a number of blogs every day.  I don’t always comment because I do have a day job.  (Some say I only work one day a week).  🙂  If yours is not “featured” here, please don’t discount your influence upon my life and my thinking.  I value each of you.  I value your comments and visits.  Lurking or commenting…thanks.  Let me just ask you one question: did any of these touch a nerve with you?

I went directly to the blog that MPT referenced, and am now bawling my eyes out. No time to check on any others, but was blessed by checking out some of Sara’s posts. I can’t begin to imagine….

Thanks for posting that. I needed it today.

  2. Thanks for linking me, Bill!

  3. Jim F says:

    Thanks for the Link Love!

  4. Tom says:

Yes they did Bill! Thanks for sharing. Praying for you!

  5. Jon says:

Definitely! Dustin’s wife, Jen’s post was powerful!

  6. Jason says:

A comment from Dustin’s wife on her post was basically God using her to spark something. So I guess that qualifies as touched. 😉

  7. Moe says:

Dustin’s post (or should I say his wife’s?) was fantastic. I really enjoyed it.

Wait, I thought you only worked 45 minutes a week, when you preach? LOL.

  8. I love all the guys listed here. Even if I, like you, don’t always agree with MPT! 😉

  9. Zee says:

Didn’t read all of them, but Matthew’s from JesusNeedsNewPR, Jonathan Pearson’s, and Jen’s from Abraham Chronicles really made me think.

    Thanks for sharing, big brother.

  10. Mercy says:

I did not read all of them but I read most of them. I loved the post by Jim: Doing the Menial? and Sammy: One thing I hate about being a dad. The one I loved most was the post by Jen: I am from.

  11. I Am From was really amazing/touching/awesome.

  12. Robin says:

Thanks for linking to MPT…his post on Sara was touching and if it sends people to her blog, well, they won’t see life quite the same after hanging out w/ Sara for a few hours…hugs

Thx for being so gracious Robin. I wrote that before I read yours. You wrote a great tribute to Sara on yours. I would direct them to yours. She appears to be a truly remarkable woman.
